GETTING STARTED

Our Services: List

INTAKE CONSULTATION

30 Minute session with parents only

You will call the office to schedule your initial intake consultation.  You will be asked to review the Notice of Privacy Practices, Client Rights and Responsibilities and consent forms for treatment before your appointment. You should arrive 15-20 minutes early to review these documents and complete a short form on your areas of concern and patient history.  During the consultation, we will start by reviewing any questions about the provided documentation or treatment structure.  After questions are answered and acknowledgements are signed, your clinician will review your intake information and provide an initial recommendation for a service package.

PARENT BEHAVIOR SKILLS TRAINING SESSIONS

1 hour or 1.5 hour sessions with parents only

Your treatment plan will start with Parent Behavior Skills Training sessions for at least 2-4 sessions before the combination of Family Treatment Guidance sessions.

FAMILY TREATMENT GUIDANCE SESSIONS

1 hour sessions with parents and child/client

Following at least 2-4 Parent Behavior Skills Training session, these sessions can be done in conjunction with the Parent Behavior Skills Training sessions. The Family Treatment Guidance sessions are used to apply the knowledge and understanding of behavior analysis with your child present. It is recommended to continue a combination of Parent Behavior Skills Training sessions and Family Treatment Guidance sessions weekly.

IN-HOME OBSERVATION AND CONSULTATION

1.5 hour session in family's home

In-home observation and consultation sessions are a supplemental service in which the BCBA travels to your home to observe the family's use of the treatment procedures in the client’s/child’s natural environment. This service allows for treatment adjustments based on what will be most successful within your home.  There will be both observation of the family and consultation of the results of the observation during this session.
